I have been keeping up with my swimming these last few weeks
as much as I can with workouts provided by my coach. But I was finally able to
attend our little tri-swim group workout at the Y. I was super sick the last
week+ with some sort of stomach bug. It hit my wife first, and I followed a
couple of days later. Brutal. So it has been a slow recovery this week, trying
to get some energy back and trying to eat a bit more normally.
Unfortunately, the first class was a kick focused session. I
HATE kick sessions in the pool. But it was mostly a technique focused swim,
with a couple of tips from the coach, chatting with my friends, and overall a
good day at the pool.
